The predecessor company was established in May 1998 Hudong Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. listed. July 31, 2007, Hudong Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. acquired Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and other assets, changed its name to "China Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd.". On October 28, 2007, "CSSC" agreed to set up the Hudong Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. with the business and assets of the diesel engine part of the former Hudong Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. The company covers an area of about 150,000 square meters, more than 1,300 employees, diesel engine production capacity of 200 million horsepower. After the baptism of listed companies, the company gradually established and improved the modern enterprise management system, management more standardized, operational efficiency is increasing, production scale and rapid economic benefits.
